Made in the style of an Italian Ripasso, the grapes were picked in October and then dried for six weeks before fermentation to concentrate the sugars.

2008 tasting - This dark, slightly brownish red wine has a sweet, interesting bouquet coupled to a sweet, complex flavor and a long, dry finish which becomes sweet only at the very end.

2009 tasting - An excellent, deep, fruity bouquet coupled to a dark, opaque red color and a light complex flavor that could have been made in Italy. The finish is dry and chewy.
