Cabernet Franc

Cabernet Franc is a variety of the European grape species Vitis vinifera developed in France and grown widely throughout the world. This is surprising to some, because its name rarely appears on labels. This lesser known of the two Cabs is usually used for blending, often with its more famous cousin, Cabernet Sauvignon.
