Hendry Block 24 is 2 acre vineyard 200 feet above sea level with U.C.D. Primitivo Clone 3 grafted onto St. George rootstock planted in 1997 in thin, stony Boomer series soils. The wine was aged 14 months in 50% new French oak barrels.

2007 tasting - This blackish red wine has an oaky bouquet with hints of fruit and a light, spicy flavor with a complex and incredibly dry aftertaste. Definitely worth picking up a bottle.
