2006 tasting - (19% alcohol) Good bouquet - strong smell of chocolate. Good powerfully chocolate flavor.

2007 tasting - (18.5% alcohol) A good overpowering chocolate bouquet sets the stage for this dark red Merlot port with a surprisingly good although chocolatey flavor.

2008 tasting - (18.5% alcohol) A dark, blackish purple, this dessert wine has a strong chocolate bouquet coupled to a slightly sweet, dry, tangy flavor with a strong chocolate aftertaste.

2010 tasting - (18.5% alcohol) Chocolate overpowers the wine – very nice for dessert.
