Colli Altotiberini is a wine produced in the Italian province of Perugia in the Umbria region. It was established as an DOC wine on 22 January 1980. Three types of wine are produced in this DOC: (1) Bianco, made with Trebbiano Toscano, Malvasia del Chianti and other white grapes and requiring 10.5% alcohol, (2) Rosso, made with Sangiovese, Merlot, Trebbiano Toscano, Malvasia del Chianti and other reds, requiring 11.5% alcohol and (3) Rosato, with the same requirements as the Rosso.
