Moscadello di Montalcino, declared a DOC on 13 November 1984, is a wine grown in the Brunello di Montalcino area of Italia's Siena province. It is made from at least 85% Moscato Bianco. The wine requires 10.5% alcohol. A Frizzante variety is also made. For the vendemmia tardiva 15% alcohol is required as well as 12 months aging.
