Bianco della Valdinievole (Val di Nievole), declared a DOC on 9 January 1976, is a white wine grown in Pistoia. The main grape is Trebbiano Toscano, with smaller amounts of Malvasia del Chianti, Canaiolo Bianco and Vermentino. A minimum of 11% alcohol is required, or 17% plus 3 years of aging for the Vin Santo.
