Moscato di Cagliari

Cagliari e Oristano, Sardegna

Moscato di Cagliari is a wine produced in the Cagliari and Oristano provinces of Italia's Sardegna region. It was declared a DOC on 21 June 1972. The Moscato Bianco cultivar is used to produce the several varieties of this wine. The Dolce Naturale (sweet) requires 15% alcohol whereas the Liquoroso Dolce Naturale requires 17.5%. Both need at least five months of aging or one year to be labeled Riserva.
