Monica di Cagliari is a wine produced in the Cagliari and Oristano provinces of Italia's Sardegna region. It was declared a DOC on 21 June 1972. The Monica cultivar is used to produce the several varieties of this wine. The Dolce Naturale (sweet) requires 14.5% alcohol, the Secco (dry) requires 14% alcohol, and the Liquoroso Dolce Naturale and Liquoroso Secco require 17.5% and nine months of aging or 2 years to be labeled Riserva.
