Puglia

Puglia, often known outside Italia as Apulia, is divided into the provinces of Bari, Brindisi, Foggia, Lecce and Taranto. Geograpically the region is the heel of the Italian boot. No DOCG wines are made in the region, but a number of DOC wines are. In addition, some IGT wines grown here may bear the name of the region on the label.
