Brindisi

Brindisi, Italia

Brindisi is a wine grown in the Brindisi and Mesagne communes of the Brindisi province in the Puglia region. That's a lot of Brindisis! The Negroamaro is mainly used in production of this wine, but Malvasia nera di Brindisi, Sussumaniello, Montepulciano and Sangiovese are also allowed. It was granted DOC status on 22 November 1979. A Rosso and a Rosato are made.
