Dolcetto di Diano d'Alba, which is made from the Dolcetto grape (100%), is a wine grown in the Diano d'Alba commune of Cuneo. The DOC, whose name is shortenable to Dolcetto di Diano, was created on 3 May 1974. It requires 11.5% alcohol, or 12.5% and a year of aging to qualify as Superiore.
