Grignolino d'Asti

Grignolino d'Asti is a red wine grown in the Asti province of the Piemonte region. Mainly the Grignolino grape is used in its production, but a bit of Freisa may also be used. It was granted DOC status on 29 May 1973, requiring 11% alcohol.
