Freisa d'Asti

Freisa d'Asti is a wine grown in the Asti province of the Piemonte region of Italia. It was granted DOC status on 1 September 1972. The wine is 100% Freisa. The wine can be made Secco (dry), Frizzante (fizzy) or Spumante (sparkling). 11% alcohol is required or 11.5% for the Superiore.
