Val Polcèvera is a wine made in the Italian province of Genova. It was granted its DOC status on 16 March 1999 and can made as a blended Bianco (white), Rosso (red) or Rosato (rose), or with one of the specific grape varietals Bianchetta Genovese or Vermentino. If the wine is white, it might also be made as a Passito or Spumante (sparkling), requiring alcohol contents of 15.5% and 11% respectively.
