Cesanese del Piglio is a red wine made in the Italian province of Frosinone. Made primarily from the Cesanese di Affile and Cesanese Comune grapes, it may also contain as much as 10% of Sangiovese, Montepulciano, Barbera, Trebbiano Toscano (sometimes called Passerana) or Bombino Bianco. It was granted its DOC status on 29 May 1973 and must have a minimum alcohol content of 12%.
