Ischia

Ischia is a wine grown and vinified on the island of the same name in the Italian province of Napoli. It was one of the earlier DOCs, being declared in 1966 and can be red, white, sparkling or made from a number of specific varietals: Biancolella, Forastera or Piedirosso. The Piedirosso may also be made as a Passito.
