Bourgogne

France

Bourgogne, often called Burgundy in English, is a viticultural region in eastern France. Cultivation of Vitis vinifera, mainly Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, takes place in French Appellations d'Origine Contrôlée (AOC) there. Technically Beaujolais is also part of Bourgogne, but this region is so different it is usually considered seperately.
