Yalumba

Barossa, South Australia

Yalumba was started by Sam Smith in 1849 and has been passed down through 5 generations of his descendents. A rather large operation, they have their own cooperage and vine nursery. Currently, they produce four grades of wines: Rare & Fine, Hand-Picked, Barossa Valley and the Y Series, although it's not always clear from the bottling which grade a particular wine ftis into.
